These were the first tests with a light painting tool I made consisting of stacked plastic champagne glasses (without the detachable bases) with a blue gel inside and a flashlight shining through it.

I builded a similar brush with shotglasses. If you add a small black tape at the center of the torch you get a lot more detail from the outer rings. 😉

Ok. Never tried that, but the torch I use for this has 3 Leds (wolfeyes) as it's the only one I have that fits the glasses properly. I guess not ideal for taping over but worth a shot.
