Grant us thy peace, Lord we pray
We tired of thousands of doves freed
When our hearts and soul are still caged
Grant us peace O Lord we pray
In this world filled with tribulations and pains
Let thy peace be filled in our hearts

Millions, Billions, Trillions
have been sunk in
since our quest to seek peace
for planet earth begun
And countless decades and centuries
Man has come and gone
Yet not a day of peace
Could the world boast of

Twenty-four hours
Twenty-four crises.
The least I could count for now
For I'm NOT omnipresence like THEE LORD
And each second fathers rise against sons
Daughters war against mothers and mother -in-laws
Nations against nations
And mans inhumanity to man.

Has our monies wasted so far granted us peace?
Would plans to spend more will our peace guaranteed?
How long shall we lay in ignorance
When THE PRINCE OF PEACE is just a call away?

Lord, I and we are tired of this
Peace the world gives that steals our Joy
Grant us yet THY PEACE AGAIN
Not as the word gives
But yours ALONE
