Acts 12:36 NKJV
“For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell asleep, was buried with his fathers, and saw corruption.
I could say without mincing words that to the best of my knowledge, there is no man in the entire scripture that served God like David. And his life of service was what led him into the fulfillment assignment. In other words, David fulfilled his destiny on the platform of service, as our Bible reference says. Until you understand service, destiny fulfillment is not in sight. Any man that hates services already hates destiny. You will never know your specific assignment and destiny if you do not care to know about general service.
David operated several capacities at different times in the Bible as occasion demanded. David was willing to do whatever was necessary to salvage a situation in his time. When there is need t save the sheep from the lion and the bear, David rose to challenge by becoming a valiant fighter on the post.
Many Christians shy away or begin to complain whenever they are faced with challenging situation. There are hidden blessings that are in challenges that we face but sometimes most people do not identify these blessings but rather articulate the challenges even more than the blessings. This is but a misplaced priority.
Would you imagine what David’s fate would have been if he failed to take up the challenge that came his way. He quickly even without a second thought had to accept the task of fighting Goliath. This of course brought him fame and it was a beginning of the journey that led to him becoming a king in Israel, the second king who took over from Saul after he had been rejected by God for disobedience.
Stay on there are many more great lessons that that I shall bring your way.
