Praying Effective Prayers

Prayer is a frequent term used to connote the interaction or conversation between two parties; man and man or God and man and is the later is usually initiated by man.

Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. Hebrews 4:16 KJV.

Scripturally, prayer is concerned with going to God in search of either His face or His Hands. Seeking His face entails a longing for a relationship that is burned out of a sincere desire to enjoy an unbroken bond of fellowship, adoring God for all His wondrous works without necessarily expecting something in return. Also, going to God in search of His hands implies running to Him as a strong tower and helper longing His help in troubles and expecting answers or solutions to issues bigger than man.

Jesus himself gave a prayer model and also taught the efficacy of prayers Matthew 17:21,21:22.

Prayer is not reciting your unbelief to God.it is not a means to manipulate God and it is not also a way of impressing Him.

A lot of believers are engaged in religious practice rather than connecting to the father in purity and singleness of heart.

Psalms 24:3-5
Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place?
He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.
He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.

So the first step to praying Effective Prayer is:

• Ensure you walk in the rightousness of God through Christ Jesus. Confess your faults one to another, forgive those who offends you and Confess your sins to God. 1Jn1:9, James 5:16

Other steps are:

• Let your desire to pray not come from a selfish perspective.
• Believe that God will answer your prayers.
• Be consistent in your prayers.
• Do not be shaken in your faith.
• Use the word of God while Praying because God honour's His words.
• Pray for others in need.
• Pray to the father in the name of Jesus.

DON'T FORGET, THE WEAKEST PRAYER OF THE WEAKEST BELIEVER IN CHRIST JESUS IS STRONGER THAN THE STRONGEST DEMON IN HELL!

You don't have to wait for a perfect time to pray. Just start praying, and the spirit of God will teach you how to pray.

Heavenly father, I thank you for this day, I thank you for your his previledge to be alive to pray. I repent of all the errors of selfishness in the place of prayer. I asked that you help me to pray rightly in Jesus Name!
