THE PROMISE

Hello beautiful family of God. I'm back with another exciting part of our lesson and study from the book of Genesis. How time flies, we just got to chapter 12. How interesting .

12:1 Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee.

Abram is known for obedience to God and was rrady to do anything God orders him to do. God did not only tell him to move out of his father's house, He also promised that He will make of him a great nation, bless him and also make his name great. God also promised him that he shall make him a blessing.

12:3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

What a promise. For God to make such promise to you, just know you are blessed for life and you are the apple of God's eye. But you know, an ordinary person cannot just receive blessings from God, you must also be obedient to God and make Him your Lord and saviour.

12:4-5 So Abram departed, as the LORD had spoken unto him; and Lot went with him: and Abram was seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran. And Abram took Sarai his wife, and Lot his brother's son, and all their substance that they had gathered, and the souls that they had gotten in Haran; and they went forth to go into the land of Canaan; and into the land of Canaan they came.

After all these that Abram had done, God then appeared to him and told himthat He will give his seed the land that they are and so Abram built an altar unto God and then continued his journey.

Thanks so much for reading...
Till I come your way next time...
