Romans 8:14; For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

Lets look at it from this perspective, you are part of an army, now for the army to see you as one of their own, you have got to follow instructions and abide by what your officer tells you right? On the way field, the captain leads the troops, and everyone under his command yields to his guidance so you may all be safe and survive the battle.

Ok, so in our life too it is almost the same thing happening, Christians form part of the Army of the Lord and our Captain leading us on the battle field (which is our life journey on earth) is the Holy Spirit who has been assigned by the Major General (Jesus the Christ) to lead and guide us through everything for us to survive and to win.

It becomes incumbent on us to yield to our captain, lest we loss our way because he already knows the pathway, another important factor is to yield to him to actually be considered a part of the Army of the Lord. And whiles we have our own freedom because the Lord has made it to be so, abiding by the wishes of the Lord and letting our Captain lead us will ensure that we do not fall into enemy traps.

So Brethren, yield yourself to the guidance of the Holy Spirit, listen to him when he speaks and do only what he tells you, for it is by doing so that we will overcome every obstacle and succeed in everything we do. Have Nice Week, and thanks for reading.

Surely No soldier when in service gets entangled in the enterprises of [civilian] life; his aim is to satisfy and please the one who enlisted him. Which is our Lord Jesus Christ.
