The Lord Our Provider
Philippians 4:19 And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus.
Greetings to all parionshers
I come to you today to remind you and to encourage you in these times of difficulty not to give up hope or trust in the Lord knowing that he is our provider and thus whiles he has been providing for us all these times these difficult times would not be any different, he will not leave nor forsake us. If for anything, the and of God is might especially in times of difficulty and distress that his power and majesty may be manifest to Glory of his name and to liberate and save his children from the clutches of the enemy who hunts day and night seeking to devour God's People.
I would like to through some more light on the provision part though, the times that manna used to fall from heaven to feed God's people is in the past, in this new era and dispensation, with the advent of the gospel, things are a bit different. Not that our Lord has changed, no, he is the same God we have always known, he the same God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, however there is the need for one to do what is expected of them to get the necessary response. For instance, for one to be saved he or she is required to repent of his sins, making a note not to go back to it and to the take Lord as their savior. Just like becoming a member of @heartchurch community, it is pertinent that you abide by the community instructions and do what is expected of you.
Unfortunately, there are many Christians who are still of the belief that once the bible has said the Lord will provide they will sit on their chairs at home 24/7 and expect miracles to happen in their lives. This is not be done, the is a reason why the Lord gave us wisdom, gifts and talents, he expects us to use them that he may bless our handiwork to be more successful. Pastor Christ once said, "Miracles do happen, yes, its true, but Miracles happens to the prepared mind". I believe this goes a long way to explain the point i would to make today. If you take a single step toward Christ, he will take a hundred fold towards you, but it is pertinent that you take that step.
