Hold Fast
You therefore, beloved, since you know this beforehand, beware lest you also fall from your own steadfastness, being led away with the error of the wicked.
In our modern day and era there are so many plots and devices that the devil utilizes to cause people to fall from Grace and from Christ. One of the many is instilling the idea of been untouchable such that people refuse to do what is right and what ought to be done until they slip and fall.
So the Apostle Paul reminds us in everything we should not forget the way that is right, we should hold fast lest we fall and be lead astray by false prophets and false doctrines. We have to allow ourselves to be renewed in mind and in spirit and should also pray for the Spirit of discernment that in our quest to obtain spiritual enlightenment we don't fall from the right path.
