Financial Freedom for Christians
Hello to all parishioners,
I hope we all doing great and staying safe? May the good Lord continue to keep us and bless us in all our endeavors. My post today was a motivation from what i got from @sirknight's post on A Financial Awakening and understanding i got from visiting his site to learn.
Christ loved us and for that reason he came to die for us, his love for us show in all the goodness that he allows to come our way day in day out, but reading the awakening post made me realize that there are things that God will not do for us because he expects us to know or better still use the knowledge and the wisdom we have to been given to to make the right choices and decision that will improve our life in the direction he wants us to go.
The Word of God teaches us to seek the Kingdom of God first and all others shall be added unto us, unfortunately for the majority of Christians in seeking the kingdom we neglect the knowledge and wisdom God seeks to impact on us through his word. God's people are supposed to be a blessing, we are never supposed to be poor and while the word says blessed are the poor in spirit it does not mean what many thinks about financial freedom. Christians must learn to be financially independent and it is high time we strive to obtain knowledge available to us.
Did you realize that Abraham was a very wealthy person? So was Isaac, Jacob and Joseph and the Israel nation. We as Christians are descendants of Abraham and are part of the Israel Nation. Over the past years In Africa it was believed that as Christians you should be poor, but even Jesus told us he has a mansions in his fathers house and he has gone to prepare a place for us. If my God is not poor why should I be?
