God has put a gift in each and every christian, discovering what that gift is, is our responsibility. Then also it is incumbent on us to knock till God listens to us and hear our prayer. There are many a times when God places people in our lives to help us discover our gifts and to help us grow in our discovered gifts but a lot of people miss this opportunity because the fail to realize what is in front of us. Reading the old testament, one would realize that God normally prepared new prophet through his old prophet and through them the new gifts and grown and watered them till they had thrived and was ready survive to be on their own.

Patients is also very important, it is a virtue and it can move mountains. When we patiently wait on the Lord and follow the necessary steps and guidance as the scripture directs us we would be able to access our gifts and fan them into flaming. Fear has always been a bad spirit that has kept lots of Christians from reaching their true potential, when we fear we are unable to jump start our gifts and for those that has found it they end up killing it.

Believe that you are capable, believe that the Lord has blessed in abundantly in ways unimaginable, be bold in exercising you faith and using what the Lord has put in you to edify his church. Being Patient and abiding by the scripture will help you unlock your gift whiles not giving up and not losing hope will help you grow your gift. Always remember that he who knocks the door will be opened to them.

Its very true. Fear throttles our talent. Matthew 25:24-25 He also who had received the one talent came forward, saying, ‘Master, I knew you to be a hard man, reaping where you did not sow, and gathering where you scattered no seed, 25 so I was afraid, and I went and hid your talent in the ground. Here, you have what is yours.

THe parable of the talent shows how fear destroys good gifts
