DEVOTION TODAY: HELPLESSNESS OF THOSE WITHOUT CHRIST.

I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. — John 15:5 (KJV)

Jesus,speaking to us today,reveals a powerful relationship between Him and us. It is important to consider the helplessness of the branch of the tree when it's not attached to the tree. This makes our lives meaningless without Christ. The world system has portrayed human independence and confidence in the flesh,but brethren a man's failures starts when he thinks he can do it without Christ.

Today I bring to you the only way to true success,peace and fulfillment in this world and in eternity: Abide in Christ! No matter the efforts or knowledge acquired,no matter the degrees and qualifications acquired,no matter the physical possessions one might accumulate, everything is vanity without Jesus Christ in our lives. We can't obtain an eternal value without Christ. This calls for a conscious abiding in God's word daily. Since fruitfulness and the beauty of God's powerful manifestation is only possible in Christ,let us come to Him today,just as we are.

Let he that struggle,struggle no more. Let he that sins,sin no more. Let the broken hearted come. Let the discouraged come. Let he that is selfish and self-centered come. Let the afflicted come. Let the poor and wealthy come. Come to Christ and let the fruits of love,peace and every fulfillment spring up in your life without struggle.

Without Jesus,we can do nothing. The world may applaud us concerning what looks like achievements,but brethren everything we see is only a shadow of what we could become in Christ. All is vanity without Jesus Christ. Make up your mind to abide in Him , where there's wisdom,power and revelatory knowledge.

Break every entanglement with the flesh and the deceitfulness of this world,let the light of Christ shine in us,in Jesus's name. Amen.
