God Uses Present Circumstances To Prepare Us For The Future.

Hello everyone!!!
When Israel was challenged to send someone to fight Goliath, no one was brave enough to step up to the task, No one but David.

But David said to Saul, “Your servant has been keeping his father’s sheep. When a lion or a bear came and carried off a sheep from the flock, I went after it, struck it and rescued the sheep from its mouth. When it turned on me, I seized it by its hair, struck it and killed it. Your servant has killed both the lion and the bear; this uncircumcised Philistine will be like one of them, because he has defied the armies of the living God. The LORD who rescued me from the paw of the lion and the paw of the bear will rescue me from the hand of this Philistine.”
Saul said to David, “Go, and the LORD be with you.”

- 1 Samuel 17:34-37

Being a shepherd didn't earn David much respect, but it prepared him to fight Goliath and eventually become Israel's greatest king. We may be in difficult circumstances, but through them God might be preparing us for something greater. When you face towering problems, recall how God has helped you in the past. Take heart because God gives you strength. Use the skills God has already given you and move forward. God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word

LORD, help me to hold on during the unpleasant times in my life knowing that You may be preparing me for something greater. In Jesus’ Name, I pray. Amen.
