Dear brothers and sisters in Christ

Today the Golden Censer has given me a verse from the Isaiah´ book that brings to mind the passage of the prodigal son, who after having squandered the inheritance that had been given to him, returned to his father's house and he received it forgiving his misconduct and expressing his affection with joy as he recovered the son he had lost (Luke 15:11-32).

So for the Lord a sinner who repents of his sins, converts and gives himself to Christ, God will rejoice for the lost sheep that returned to the fold (Matthew 18:10-14).

Jesus is the Good Shepherd who died on the cross to pay our sins. He rose on the third day and gave us the comforting Holy Spirit who gives us the light to receive the joy of the Lord and healing. We should just be like the young man who welcomes his young woman. We must be attentive to have moments of prayer and meditation on the word contained in the Bible. Keep your commandments. Also share the joy of our faith and confidence in the Lord's promises with our brothers in the church and assist those most in need.

Amen.
