1 Corinthians 15:12-28 KJV
[12] Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead? [13] But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen: [14] And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain. [15] Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not. [16] For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised: [17] And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins. [18] Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished. [19] If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable. [20] But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept. [21] For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. [22] For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. [23] But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming. [24] Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. [25] For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet. [26] The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death. [27] For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted which did put all things under him. [28] And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.

The wicked parents or predecessors does not suffer the consequences of their wicked act alone but extend the suffering to their children or their families, their successor, community and nation. A nation can suffer for the recklessness and mismanagement of resources by their formal leader.

Christ brings us hope through His resurrection. Everyone that believes in him will rise because he has risen. Verse 21 of the text show us the parallel between the first and second Adam. It further shows that all have died in the first Adam but we are made alive in Christ.

All men derived the sinful nature from the first Adam and became mortal through his sin. The resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ as revive all who partake in the spirit and become immortal. Just has Jesus had risen, those who are in Christ will rise too.

Adam and Eve brought curse, shame, separation and death to the world but Jesus Christ has reconciled us back to God and given us salvation and blessing. Have you received divine grace, life and favour that God gives through Christ Jesus? For those that will believe in Jesus’ death and resurrection, God has given access to divine glory and eternal life.

Are you experiencing death in any aspect of your life – business, career and vocation? Through Jesus Christ, you can access the life of God today, tomorrow maybe too late.

Death came through the sin of a man and life came through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Only those who believe in Him will receive life.
As you receive the life of God in Christ today, also help others to access same.
I pray God will help us to receive His life in Christ Jesus and make us a channel of same in Jesus Name. Amen

Thanks for Dropping By !
