Always look at the bright side of life even in the midst of our darkest moment because there is a light coming our way soon which will overpower the dark side.

Many at times, we have goliaths in our lives that make us run and not see the bright side of life like the children of Isreal and Saul did. The Israelites were terrified and ran for their life. All they could see was Goliath (the problem).

1 SAMUEL 17:1-11

Now the Philistines gathered their forces for war and assembled at Sokoh in Judah. They pitched camp at Ephes Dammim, between Sokoh and Azekah.
Saul and the Israelites assembled and camped in the Valley of Elah and drew up their battle line to meet the Philistines.
The Philistines occupied one hill and the Israelites another, with the valley between them.
A champion named Goliath, who was from Gath, came out of the Philistine camp. His height was six cubits and a span.[a]
He had a bronze helmet on his head and wore a coat of scale armor of bronze weighing five thousand shekels[b];
on his legs, he wore bronze greaves, and a bronze javelin was slung on his back.
His spear shaft was like a weaver’s rod, and its iron point weighed six hundred shekels.[c] His shield-bearer went ahead of him.
Goliath stood and shouted to the ranks of Israel, “Why do you come out and line up for battle? Am I not a Philistine, and are you not the servants of Saul? Choose a man and have him come down to me.
If he is able to fight and kill me, we will become your subjects; but if I overcome him and kill him, you will become our subjects and serve us.”
Then the Philistine said, “This day I defy the armies of Israel! Give me a man and let us fight each other.”
On hearing the Philistine’s words, Saul and all the Israelites were dismayed and terrified.

David looked on the bright side of life and trusted his God for victory and him alone with just a sling defeated Goliath.

Do you think your life problem is as outstanding and voluminous like Goliath? do you think your life problem is weighty and heavy than Goliath? If David could defeat a man who was six cubits and a span tall as Goliath, do you think you won't be able to defeat your own Goliath?

Stop looking at the enormity or volume of whatever life may be bringing your way, stop looking at the challenges or situations life is throwing your way, stop looking at the problems it is bringing to your footstep or you are going through, instead, look unto our God in heaven.

Looking at the bright side of life is appreciating God and seeing a possibility even in a situation that seems impossible.

Let us learn not to look at the dark side, let us learn not to fix our eyes on our problems instead let's learn to look at the bright side of life.

If a sling and the name of Jesus could defeat Goliath, why then are you afraid when God is with you. Looking at the bright side of life will always give us the courage to face our Goliath because we know who we serve and believe in.

HEBREWS 12:2

fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him, he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Fixing our eyes or looking at the bright side of life even in our darkest time gives that assurance an always puts a smile on our face no matter what happens to us.
