Thinking yourself better than others
1 Corinthians 4:7; For who makes you so superior? What do you have that you did not receive? And if you did receive it, why do you boast as though you did not?

I whole idea of one been superior to another and one looking down on another because they are supposedly better than them in terms of certain abilities, skills or power is carnal idea which stems from the world and is certainly and definitely not from God neither is it a good thing.
As Christians it is very important that we stay away from such ideologies and luring thoughts that takes us from our Christian faith, Yes we ought to think highly of ourselves if not for anything we have the heritage of been sons and daughters of the most high created in his image and likeness. The psalmist even went further to reiterate how we are gods.
However, lets learn not to think ourselves better than others for by doing so we also judge them and the bible tells us not to judge for lest we be judge. May the Good Lord and the Holy Spirit guide us in our thoughts in our words that we may stay clean and pure and remain in the shadow of the almighty. Thanks for reading and have nice day.
