Merciful
Luke 6:36, Be ye therefore merciful, as your father is also is merciful
Being merciful is not an easy thing to do especially when we are hurt so badly by those who we love or those who profess to love us. There is nothing more painful than that and sometimes we feel like lashing out and making these people pay so badly for letting us down and looking down on our trust.
But the Lord whom we serve is teaching us to do otherwise and to be able to successfully do this we need the Holy Spirit to fill us up and guide us in all we do. For without strength from above we might as well just give up.
So when the things seem too difficult, when you feel like lashing out, when you feel like revenging so much and making others pay, remember that we ought to be merciful by so doing we may obtain mercy when we need it. Thanks for reading and have nice day
