Love for others
Romans 12:9 Don’t Just Pretend to love others. Do really love them. Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good.
There is a popular saying that goes like do not hate the player rather hit the game and whiles this may not be the perfect analogy for the delineations i seek to make known, we could still use it and i believe this gives us the impression or the idea that when people do wrong we ought not to hate them rather if there is any dislike to be meted out it out to focus on their act.
Because we are human and we do err sometimes not to say this should be a mantra to keep doing what you know is wrong but them, true love for our neighbors teaches us to help bring them back to the light when they fall into darkness instead of shunning them. If it was us falling short we definitely would have loved to be guided back.
And so if we are to love our neighbor as ourself them we need to learn to set aside our feelings for what one may be doing wrong or may have done wrong and show love to the actual human being and teach that they may not do it again.
