Fear Not

2 Timothy 1:7; For God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

Fear is powerful emotion, it is powerful enough to elicit a crippling effect. Fear kills and can keep one from doing what ought to be done. Fear causes us to loss when we ought to win. Fear impedes productivity and disrupts tranquility.

How do we overcome our fears? we are less fearful when we are confident, we are less fearful when we are secured, we are less fearful when we have something we can truly rely on knowing that things won't bounce back at our face.

As Christians the Lord tells us not to fear, for he is with us, what he has for us, his plans for our life are that of greatness love and sound mind and so we should rely and trust in him and find that comfort and security. Trust in God in all you do and find inner peace and security which cannot be found anywhere else.
