You can spend your whole life complaining about everything, or you can make the decision to enjoy the true life that God offers, and have a glorious future of opportunities that will allow you to succeed in everything you undertake, even over all difficulties.

In him was life, and the life was the light of men.

I share this important word as a word of encouragement in times as complex as those experienced by all humanity today. Life was never in man, simply because it did not belong to him, the text says that "In God was life". Life has always been in God, because God is life itself. Life is peace, health, love, joy, security, trust, prosperity. God represents all of this. However, God is never selfish, since the life that has been in Him came to share with all men. The quoted text continues saying: "and life was the light of men".
Before man received the light of God (Christ), man was lost in the darkness of his wickedness and disobedience. The Light, which is in God, transmitted it to man through his Son Jesus Christ, who said: "I am the light of the world", that is, the light that came to the light of men.
So by receiving the light of life, which is in Christ, we can now have peace and love with our God; enjoy a more intimate and harmonious relationship, have health and guarantee of eternal life.
You may ask: How to have life in such an overwhelming and depressing world? Simply, coming to the feet of Christ, receiving the bright light that is in Him, and when He comes in glory with His holy angels, we will be with Him, enjoying the true life, which is not earthly, but spiritual.
On the natural plane, we will enjoy his protection and love, even in times of trial and difficulties, because while we are in the world, there will be times of affliction, but Jesus said: "Trust, for me I have overcome the world." Christ has already overcome diseases and difficulties for us, it is up to us to believe in God and we will be victorious in Christ Jesus.
Enjoy the life we have in God and we will see his glory in the midst of problems. Do not be overcome by our adversary, who seeks to disturb us with how agitated the world is, it is time to trust that we have victory, in Christ Jesus. "In Christ we are more than conquerors and have a guarantee of eternal life."
Jesus said to him: I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father except through me.
