Revelation 22:12!!!
I just cannot seem to be able to get that verse off my head since I woke up this morning and I think there is a message there for me and hopefully, someone out there.
"I come quickly and my reward is with me..."
The who and what we are.
Revelation 22:11
"He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still."
Going through the verse above one can see that, there are the just, the righteous, the unjust, the filthy and unrighteous individuals without whom there will not be a balance.
And the scripture is saying that for whichever one you find yourself to be, be it and do it well.
The human race is based on a perception of self worth and pride driven by material possessions; little wonder sin and the doomsday aspect of life is what appeals to majority of the population.
A man who truly understands that all is vanity is easily tied to the guiding of the Holy Spirit.
He is coming for sure.
Revelation 22:12
And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.
There is hope for the man who is just and righteous because, the saviour did promise a return.
A return that will set the righteous apart from the unrighteous.
A return that will make living the life of Christ worth every single blood, sweat and reproach experienced.
When it's all said and done?
There will surely be a reward and that regard will be based on what we merit.
The hard workers who are exceptional will be celebrated and as the custom with reward ceremonies, there is fanfare, cheers, congratulations and then some special meals.
No matter who you are and what you are and what you do, you need to have an understanding that, there is surely going to be a reckoning which will allow for a reward that best fits the individual.
The book of Revelation is to me one very "scary" one because, it tells of the truth of what is to be that the world doesn't want to be reminded of.
I like to live the life, but I am also mindful of the Word of God which is the foundation of the world and is truly is what holds true to what we will know when the Truth comes to bare.
And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.
