PLEASING GOD

Anyone who truly knows the Lord should have a constant purpose to please Him — see John 8:29 and compare John 13:16. Is anyone more ambitious than this, anywhere? Does it please you dream? — The secret of successful living is certainly here. We contemplate ten of those "secrets" in this series, but we could also say that 10 are summarized in this study. There is nothing more than living a life that is pleasing to the Lord every day. Most people today are committed to self-satisfaction — comparison Judges 17:6; 1 Corinthians 10:5; and 2 Timothy 3:4; but those work to satisfy God for a lifetime that will satisfy Him.
