Tengo una sobrina que me ama [ENG-ESP] I have a niece who loves me

Tener una sobrina ha sido una bendición plena para mí, es como una hija, mi única hija, y aunque no la he criado se que nos hemos dado muchísimo amor, además de qué, también he sido bendecida por la forma en la que esa niña me ve y me ama.

Having a niece has been a complete blessing for me, she is like a daughter, my only daughter, and even though I have not raised her I know that we have given each other a lot of love, plus what, I have also been blessed by the way that little girl sees me and loves me.

Al principio, mientras crecía llegué a pensar que no me quería, es que estaba más bebé y su forma de ser es odiosa, se parece a mí un poco, sin embargo con los años le he dado su espacio porque si la atosigaba ella se alejaba de mí. Ya tiene 4 años y tiene tiitis conmigo, no puede verme porque no quiere despegarse, quiere jugar me habla como un perico y me cuenta todo, aparte de qué, se me acerca a decirme tía te amo.

At first, as she was growing up I thought she didn't love me, she was more of a baby and her way of being is hateful, she looks a bit like me, however over the years I have given her her space because if I harassed her she would stay away from me. She is now 4 years old and she has tiitis with me, she can't see me because she doesn't want to get away, she wants to play, she talks to me like a parakeet and tells me everything, besides that, she comes up to me to tell me aunt I love you.

Hace 3 días cumplió 4 años, y me di cuenta de que realmente estaba creciendo, está hermosa, inteligente, feliz, y se volvió amante de los unicornios como yo, por tanto le regalé un disfraz de unicornio, y pues ahora no se lo quiere quitar, me encanta como se ve de feliz, y me encanta que a las dos nos guste lo mismo, es una cierta conexión que tengo con ella. Su carita cuando vio su regalo pues, fue emocionante, casi lloro.

Three days ago she turned 4 years old, and I realized that she was really growing up, she is beautiful, smart, happy, and she became a unicorn lover like me, so I gave her a unicorn costume, and now she doesn't want to take it off, I love how happy she looks, and I love that we both like the same thing, it is a certain connection I have with her. Her little face when she saw her present, well, it was exciting, she almost cried.

Se que mi sobrina me ama porque me lo demuestra, los niños son muy sinceros y ella está pegada con su tío Juan (mi esposo) y yo, porque son los únicos tíos que ve. Yo hago el esfuerzo para ir a verla al menos una vez a la semana ya que vivimos lejos y mi hermana trabaja y yo también, se que vale mucho la pena verla porque ella se ha pegado mucho conmigo.

I know my niece loves me because she shows me, the kids are very sincere and she is stuck with her uncle Juan (my husband) and I, because they are the only uncles she sees. I make the effort to go to see her at least once a week since we live far away and my sister works and so do I, I know it is very worthwhile to see her because she has stuck with me a lot.

Ser tía es lo más lindo que me ha pasado, y más porque puedo sentirla, conocerla, verla crecer y ser un apoyo para ella, es muy hermoso tener esa conexión con una pequeña personita y que ella te haga importante en su vida, es lo más lindo. Amo ser tía y tener una sobrina que me ama mucho porque me ha visto siempre presente.

Being an aunt is the nicest thing that has happened to me, and more because I can feel her, know her, see her grow and be a support for her, it is very beautiful to have that connection with a little person and that she makes you important in her life, it is the nicest thing. I love being an aunt and having a niece who loves me very much because she has always seen me present.
