License Professional Teacher "LPT" : A Journey of Faith, Perseverance, and God's Perfect Timing

Hello, Hive Fam!
It's been a while since I last shared a personal story here. Life has been keeping me busy, but today I finally found the time to look back on one of the greatest milestones of my life—my journey to becoming a ,"Licensed Professional Teacher (LPT)."
It's hard to believe that, in the blink of an eye, it's already been a year since I earned my teaching license. Looking back, I can truly say that every hardship, every criticism, every sacrifice, and every prayer led me to where I am today.

During my internship, my mother supported me financially until I graduated from college. I am also incredibly grateful to my aunt and uncle, who helped me enroll in a review center and supported me in getting my Notice of Admission (NOA). Their generosity became one of the reasons why I was able to continue pursuing my dream.

After graduation, I started working as a Teacher Aide. Later on, I was given the opportunity to teach toddlers and pre-kindergarten learners, which became a valuable experience for me. To be honest, I wasn't able to focus entirely on reviewing because I had to balance my responsibilities at work and my personal life. Even so, I kept holding on to my faith. I believed that whatever average I would receive, God would give me what I had been praying for at the right time.

Prayer, the support of my family, and everything I learned during our review sessions were all I carried with me. One thing that surprised me was when I ranked among the Top 5 during our CBRC pre-board examination, where we answered 800 test items. That moment gave me confidence and made me believe that I really had a chance of passing the actual Licensure Examination for Teachers.

On September 29, 2024, the day of the board examination, I arrived at the testing venue at around 5:45 in the morning. Surprisingly, I wasn't that nervous. Throughout every subject from General Education to Professional Education whenever I encountered difficult questions, I simply prayed, stayed calm, and analyzed each item carefully.
I even became the last examinee left inside the room while our proctor patiently waited for me to finish. After submitting my test papers, I quietly pushed my chair back and walked out without looking behind me. I also followed the old superstition of not looking back because I believed I would never have to return to that examination room again.

Three months later, on December 13, 2024, the day the results were expected to be released, I felt restless. Around noon, I couldn't stay in one place, so my feet naturally led me to the church near the daycare center. There, I prayed with all my heart and shed tears while waiting.
Later that afternoon, after our year-end celebration with the children, something unexpected happened. My classmates started congratulating me. Soon after, my cousins and my family on my mother's side also began sending their congratulations. At first, I couldn't believe it. Then I searched for the official list of passers—and there it was.
My name.

At that very moment, I cried so hard. All the sacrifices, sleepless nights, prayers, and doubts suddenly disappeared because God had finally answered my prayer.
The journey didn't end there.

In February 2025, my family and I traveled to Manila and stayed there for almost a week. One of the most unforgettable moments of my life was attending the oath-taking ceremony at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) in Pasay City. Standing there with my supportive mother and my relatives from my mother's side made the experience even more meaningful. It was one of the happiest moments I have ever experienced, and every sacrifice was truly worth it.
After our stay in Manila, we returned to Occidental Mindoro. A few days later, we traveled to Oriental Mindoro to process my requirements and claim my professional license. Finally, I was able to add the three letters that I had dreamed of for so many years...
LPT.
Those three letters may seem simple to others, but for me, they represent years of hard work, sacrifices, countless prayers, and God's faithfulness.
