Feathered Friends: Geese Pair Holding Their Ground

The geese pair had called dibs on this small plot of land at the pond. The shade of the bald cypress tree was perfect for the hot day. More geese were swimming towards them at a fast pace. But one was not going to let them on their plot so he showed his might, but they didn't leave.

The other goose decided that hissing was better and she told her other half to hiss with her.

It worked, as she knew it would and he stood tall and proud.

Keep off our grass! They need a sign, but it looks like they know how to be the masters of their universe.
Thanks for posting to #featheredfriends!

How come you're always on the spot at exactly the right moment to catch the performance? Great photos.

I am doing very well of course, my back is giving me some pain because I've been cutting down and trimming trees but I just use an axe and hand saw so I over did it a little bit and when I get up from sitting awhile I look like a hundred year old man trying to walk. lol.

I'm trying to spend less time on steemit because Mrs. J is increasingly concerned that it won't ever amount to much...and she's right to be concerned. As many wonderful apps and things as there are being built on the blockchain we don't really know if investors will find it profitable enough to pour money in and raise the price.

What are your thoughts, are you totally sold on the future? I think the platform is going to thrive as a social site...I just don't know if there will be good money to be made here. So far the big money investors don't like Steem.

Have you tried using a heating pad on your back while you are sitting? I live on a heating pad when the weather is below 70 degrees because of my Fibromyalgia. You sound like me walking like an old lady after shoveling snow.

You are right about this platform being a great social site. I used to believe that Steem would go to the moon but now all I have is a little bit of hope. If I was a big investor I wouldn't like it here either. I guess only time will tell. Are you going to sell books now?

Well if you live on heating pads when it's below 70 degrees that's all year! lol. No I haven't done that for awhile but I will if it gets bad. I generally heal up in a day or sometimes two.

I'm not selling books but that's one of the things that is still a possibility. I'm not really doing anything else, just trying to figure out a direction.

Well, I guess that's not entirely true. I've started building a nestegg with a brokerage firm who has a bitcoin wallet that pays about 12% each month on whatever amount of bitcoin you have stored there, you can start as low as $100 worth of bitcoin.

It's totally amazing and I've been thinking of working on that business because it's not MLM but you do earn referral percentages if someone signs up with your page. Generally I hate such a system but this one is different because it's showing people how to make a passive income and they don't have to recruit anyone to earn.

And we know that bitcoin is going to skyrocket starting this year so it's a tremendous opportunity to start building another income stream hands free. There are very few good ways to do that which will amount to anything but this one can.

So that is why you mention bitcoin on your posts. That is great that you don't have to purchase the entire amount for one because that is very expensive, as you know. I will definitely be talking to my son about this. I wish you well with it Jonboy!

Yes it's an easy way to earn bitcoin and with the price set to sky-rocket it's as sure a thing as there is. I haven't decided whether to try and market it but I'm thinking about it. And we're building a nice account with them while I decide!
