Treating the Guest with Green Chillies #featheredfriends

Many of you would remember the unexpected guest that knocked at my door early morning. It was my neighbour's Parrot which they kept at our home for few days due to some emergency. And we make sure to treat the guest as best as we can. That parrot was very scared looking at the new faces around, but soon she got friendlier and started to accept whatever we offered. And like everytime, this is is no different choice and it is the Green Chillies that make her more happier.

The moment I offer her, she took it and went to the corner of her cage. I am quite surprised to see how precisely they used to eat the Green chillies. In fact how they tear them from middle.

It was the magic of those sharp edged Red Beaks that make things possible for them. It also allow to shine the beauty on her body. Which gives a pleasant and beautiful combination with Green feathers.

But she get too busy to get our attention as she like to do what she is perfect at. Simply enjoying munching tye seeds from the Green Chillies.

It's not only the Chillies we did offer her many stuffs , like Litchies. The white sweet fruit, but she ignored it completely, as she was too fond of her favourite food.

All our efforts to get friendlier were in vain. She doesn't like to eat anything else. She doesn't like sweet fruit but like the translucent tangy Chillies.

The dedication at which she was concentrating at eating was very praise worthy.

We even offered her black cheekpeas. At once she looked at it but then she didn't showed much interest.

And again she started looking at the Green Chillies. The colour of her body is what attracts them a lot. MY be that why she is so fond of Green Chillies. Sometimes words fell short to explain such bird behaviour. Here are few more pic from her stay at our home.

The small bird was very beautiful and we always remember her. One of the loveliest guest we had. In between we did try to talk to her but she made sure to make own business I.e to stick to eating and making some morning g news.

Peace

Namaste @steemflow

Green chilli🙊🙊 this s the first time I'm hearing a parrot in love wit& green chillies. We had a parrot in our home ( more than 20yrs ago). I rem she loved Banana and apples. She was injured when we got her, when she was fully fit, we let her go 😊

Letting her go is an option but this is my neighbour's they also found it injured and took care of and later made it her family member...mostly u find her with Chillies and guava and cheek peas or any home cooked rice

@steemflow i'm glad you were available to care for her while her family was away. i have heard that birds have very few taste buds and they are immune to the "heat" in hot peppers. Thanks for sharing these lovely photos!
