Seagulls in the surf.

Come and watch the gulls searching for food in the breakers and there are three birds in this photo.

The rain has now stopped here, but I have to post as I think we are going to have a bumper sunset between the clouds on the ocean. So I will leave in half an hour to go and get some sunset shots. The pictures here are from my files earlier this year.

A fishers boat is out there and the gulls were waiting for some fish innards.

It is very much a first come, first served story as any gull that scores a bite gets out immediately.

Anxiously they flapped around waiting for a big meal.

Some more gulls arrived sensing that something was coming in.

Ah! Here we had a winner and he came over my head so fast that I couldn't get him on camera.

Such is life at the beach and if you don't watch even your ice cream will be stolen by the gulls.
We have many laughs when a person buys a take-away meal and they go and sit on the low promenade wall to eat it.
Imagine their fright when all of a sudden there are 30 gulls flying around their ears. We have even seen some leaving their meal and running away.

It's great fun but I think I'd run away too, I couldn't control those gulls.

Thank you and yes, we were also careful at the biginning, but now they come and eat out of my hand.

Hahaha, I love the way that they will do anything to get a meal my friend.
A guy came out of the shop with a packet of potato chips and he shouted at a seagull sitting on the roof of his new Mercedes Benz car.
So the seagull flew right past his head and stole some chips out his packet.
I think that guy was a regular at the shop and the seagull studied his modus operandi 🤣

Hahaha. I think we should not underestimate the birds. They may have their intel working quite well. 😀
The gulls are very good pinching anything tney like.

I bought the camera on a special sale, 30% discount and my daughter paid half of the price.
The Canon Bridge cameras is much cheaper line than the Canon's with the many lenses, as the Bridge camera has only one fixed lens mounted at the front of the retractable Super Zoom.
They call it a 3 in 1 lens and it has many settings.
Ideal for my purposes.
