A hot (warm) Sunday post!

Now, is the gull sitting on the street lamp, or is he standing in the water? Or is it perhaps two gulls?

This is a combination post for both #featheredfriends and #amazingnature, but the post means so much more to me, as it appeals to three senses, sight, mind and it warms the soul.
I hope that you will experience the same effects.

Nah! He was standing in the water of the flooded parking lot!

I promised you sunset photos in my previous post!

A lovely reflection here to enjoy!
That is a white parking line that looks like a ray of light and this is my favorite picture!

This picture can speak for itself!

Another cool reflection here!

Loos like some sort of a face with blazing eyes in the cloud here!

Ah, he has found something to eat!

Just a warm scene of late grandeur!

This couple was having a late afternoon chat.
I heard the guy whisper; "Here he comes with the camera, so present your model stance" 🤣

And finally, two last sunset pictures!

We are still wet here, so for a rare change the weatherman was correct. Strange, as we thought that this area also has a winter rain season. On the other side of the mountains they get winter rains and at this side of the mountains it is a different situation. The reason for this is that we are exposed to the ocean here in the Western Cape Province.
But of course, we are thankful for the rain as it provides food from the farms for all of us.

And That's All Friends!

I leave you with this to think about!

Those gulls sure are photogenic!
Seeing the sunset on the ocean has me longing to be walking along the beaches in the sea air but alas we are walking in a sea of snow here!

Yes, they are of the smalller species and surprisngly none of the bigger Kelp Gulls showed up in the pool.
Your sea of snow was the reason for me posting a hot post as it's winter up north and I wanted to bring some warmth!

To capture the beautiful birds are the sunset... is a blessing, my friend.
There are moments I miss, taken for granted if you will.
Never again.

Oh yes, we are well aware of the blessings my friend.
A big mistake is to take things for granted and to go through life, so captivated by "personal" struggles, that our eyes are closed to anything else.
A flying bird always reminds me of the power that we have to set ourselves free.
But sadly, the money god reigns to such an extent that it binds our decisions.

But I think that you have seen the light with your "never again" remark!
