This month seems to be #featheredfriends month for me. I didn't go out of my way to photograph birds. They just happened to show up when I had my camera available. First it was turkeys then geese and now I present...
January Ducks
It appears that we were to witness a mass feeding event. If you examine the following photos you see a lot of splashes and tail feathers as the ducks dive for what ever tasty morsels are below the surface. :)

oops not a duck, but I already did a post on geese so this guy will have to go here. :)
Lastly I found these two shots interesting. In the left photo the ducks feathers appear to have a purplish tint. As I stepped a couple paces left and photographed the same two ducks the feathers are back to green. I guess it is all about perspective. :)
