Humming Bird At The Feeder

Finally got some humming bird shots that I felt were worthy of sharing. I've made a couple other attempts with less than stellar results. My patience when taking pictures is not always the best. This time I decided to sit still for a while and focus in on the job at hand. Take a scroll through the post and see my results. 😀


For me this is probably the best shot of the bunch.

All in all I was pleased with the outcome and it was a good learning experience. I would prefer sharper detail on the bird so I will work on that next time and see what happens.

I have taken photos of them. I know how challenging it is! I've even moved their feeder to different places during my photo sessions to get different angles and different backgrounds. They weren't at all bothered with having their feeder in a new location every 20 minutes!

Thank you! That was one of my favorites also...the way he was hanging in mid-air. Just a tad out of focus as he approached the feeder from behind.
