Birds are a unique element of our nature. Still the birds wake us up, calling us evening. Sometimes the chirping of birds fills the mind with joy.

Many birds live in our country, the chirping of birds and wandering here and there and their beauty has brought unparalleled beauty to nature.
A variety of colorful birds have made Bangladesh beautiful. The call of birds wakes us up. That is why the Bengali poets have described it as the land of birds.That is why the Bengali poet Madan Mohan Tarkalankar wrote poems with love for birds. There are two lines in his poem-

পাখি সব করে রব রাতি পোহাইল – মদনমোহন তর্কালঙ্কার

A few words about the birds in my house

As I mentioned in my previous posts, lots of birds live in our house. House Sparrow is one of them.As I said before, crows are most common in our home. The second most common bird is the house sparrow. Besides, there are falcons, magpies, storks, tuntunis, pigeons etc. In addition, many birds are occasionally seen.

Introduction to House Sparrow

The house sparrow is a kind of small bird. They are usually only 15-16 cm in length and weigh 24-39 grams. The bodies of the juvenile and his wife, Sparrow, are mixed with brown and gray. The body of the male is bright black, brown and gray.

Accommodation and eating habits of House Sparrow

It usually feels most comfortable to be in the locality. It lives in the corner of the house or inside the ventilator of the building. They can adapt to any environment. However, they do not feel comfortable living in hilly and desert areas. This bird can be seen all over the world.

As you can see in the pictures above, House Spelling is eating food with other birds like chickens. The chickens are our pets. That means my mother nurtured them. When the mother fed the chickens, the house sparrow flew away and started eating with the chickens.
Also these birds like to eat unique insects, peddy , rice.

An interesting fact about House Sparrow

When I was very young, I often heard a word from my classmates or cousins. Playing male house sparrow increases sex power. Although I still do not know the truth. This kind of talk seems baseless to me. But today and many people think this is true. That is why many people hunt this beautiful bird of nature for food. Which is not our desire at all. So in my opinion, by eliminating such superstitions, we have to come back to reality.

Some words about the conservation of these birds, which have the beauty of nature

Birds enhance the beauty of nature and play an important role in maintaining the balance of the environment. The meat and eggs of some of them meet the demand for protein. Many birds protect our crops by eating harmful insects. Birds are one of the most endearing beauties of nature. Despite the genuine love of birds for birds, the killing of birds has not stopped. As a result, extinction of birds is gradually happening. So we should all keep these birds alive to enhance the beauty of nature and balance the earth.
