Dear sweet friend @melinda010100 i have a problem, i am running out of feathered friends. I can hear you think “ what do you mean, Britt ? “ But its the truth. I am running out of feathered friends to blog about. Offcourse we have the ducks, and while the winter is coming we ( read little D ) are getting a bit concerned but made preparations for them to be on land and be warm. But besides them its hard with no birds to blog about. And for a fan like me its a problem. But as a mum and a woman who thinks in solutions not in problems we decided to take measures in our own hands.

We were making feadercups and hopefully i can have some blogs for next weeks.

We bought frying fat and birdseed. We melted the fat and poored it into some pots we bought at the cheap thrift store. After it was warm we put the seeds in the cups and let it get cold again. That way the birds have fat and steeds for the winter and we have the opportunity to take pictures for the blogs. Yesssss great catch.... killed two birds with one stone oh no sorry! This is so nice to do and takes so little time. And i saw the store ones and they were 5 euro’s each, now i spend 10 cents on a cup / pot and i bought 5, i spend 1,55 on steeds and the fat was 1 kilogram for 1 euro. That way i saved a lot off money too.

Offcourse we ( read Little D and me ) cannot leave you with our lovelies. Enjoying their breakfast this morning when it was still rainy and cold.
