The war to move up the hierarchical ladder was in full swing.

Young drakes, who had already taken the wing, showed their superiority over each other.

The one who reaches the end, who is not afraid, who will be the most courageous and greedy, will conquer his throne and subjugate the whole flock.

For some reason, the coats of arms usually depict eagles, but this drake is in no way inferior to an eagle.

There were battles for the whole flock and for each female separately.

Drakes, in turn, rose above the water, looking out for their rivals.

If one drake was heading towards the female, other drakes followed, followed by him.

It was a fierce, but non-bloody battle.

Periodically, a couple formed, which left the place of battle and swam away to where they can twist their happiness.

It was an interesting and thrilling sight.
