The gulls have arrived

Yesterday, on my morning walk, I wanted to see my feathered friends. The ducks have already arrived from warm places. I saw a few ducks, but they were really very far away from me.
The lake is still covered with ice, so they hide in small channels.

Only a single gull circled above the river. I managed to photograph it a little. But she was also far away from me.

Strange, a week ago I saw a lot of sitting gulls. But that was in the evening. They probably flock to the same place at night to sit close to each other and thus warm up.
















By the way, when I parked the car and went to the bridge over a small river, there was a man standing there and told me that I was a little late because he saw a beaver sitting on the bank and turning its head.
Before I arrived, the beaver tapped the water with its tail and dived into the river.
