Understanding Is Deeper Than Knowledge

Nothing happens of its own accord. There is always a reason, or a cause behind an action. Seek the reason, the cause, and you will understand the whole process or situation as it truly is, and not what it appears to be. That is why understanding is deeper than knowledge.

Just knowing is not enough. Any fool can know. The point is to understand. Unfortunately, understanding does not come naturally with learning, and much learning does not mean much understanding.

Understanding does not necessarily mean agreement. We can understand someone’s point of view, or thinking, but that doesn’t mean we agree with his point of view or thoughts. And just because you don't understand, it doesn't mean it isn't so.

Everyone has untold stories of pain and sadness that make them love and live a little differently than you do. Stop judging! Instead, try to understand.

It is a luxury to be understood. That could be why we are all so desperate to be understood, we forget to be understanding.

Your opening phrase is my kind of philosophy, there's always a reason why people react to situations in different ways. Thank you for sharing this here with us! Have a wonderful Friday🌻

Indeed. We are all different. Hence, we will react differently.

I think that understanding another person is related to life experience.
The more life experience, the more understanding.
I could be wrong, this is my point of view.
