Hive Open Mic 121 / ORIGINAL SONG / And everything is fine? / ¿Y todo esta bien? / by @williansmarqu
It talks about the shortage that my country Venezuela had, there was no food, nothing and at that time and moment I saw many families on the streets asking for money, food, clothes, or something that we could help them with.
It hit me in all aspects, I could not save myself from that bad moment, but it hit me more because I always had to take my baby to school in the mornings and she saw the children looking for food from the garbage, the mothers asking for food, something that hurt me was to see the grandparents lying in the streets.
I have friends who support this process that my country is going through and they always told me that everything was fine, that nothing was happening in Venezuela, I was filled with hate, incomprehension, pity, pain, sadness, etc., when I heard those words, they always asked me,
(THEM) Hello willians brother, how are you?
(ME) Gee, how am I doing? bad, how should I be if I don't have anything in my fridge to eat?
(THEM) But why are you like this brother, if you work and earn decent money?
(ME) Is it because there is no food or anything anywhere in our state that you live in Canada?
And conversations like that made me hate the day, but well thank God here we are and here we are still in the struggle, surviving and hoping that God will remember us someday and help us to improve our country.
Every day that I get up to take my daughter to school
on the way I meet
I meet many fathers, mothers, children and grandparents
who find themselves in the need
to beg or beg for a little bit of food
a little bit of food
or money to buy
something to eat
because they don't want to steal
and you come to tell me that everything is all right, that this is going to change
that nothing has happened that this is false what I see every day
that there is no shortage, that it is a lie
Lies, everything is a lie
when they promise us something
like that there will be plenty of food
lie everything is a lie
my people are starving
and all their lives taste like shit to you
and you come to tell me that everything is fine, that this is going to change
that nothing has happened that this is false what I see every day
that there is no shortage, that it is a lie,
Lies, everything is a lie
when they promise us something
like that there will be plenty of food
lie everything is a lie
my people are starving
and all their lives taste like shit to you.(bis)
As long as we are together as a family, everything will be fine!
a muchos padres, madres, niños y abuelos

I admire anybody, who can write a good tune!
Your uplifting rhythm could deceive us foreigners, but the melody and the lyrics show us the frustration you must have felt when you wrote it, totally understandably so!
Great song! Keep it up! 👌👏
Hello, my dear friend @anna-newkey as always thank you for your words, also for taking me into account when making a publication, regarding the topic, you can't imagine the amount of negative feelings that emerged at that time.
I cried at night asking god to fix my country to give a better quality of life to my daughter, but god never abandons his children, I am not the one to be in churches or temples, but in my mind if there is faith that there is an all powerful god that always helps us in any problem, a thousand blessings to you my beautiful friend, greetings from Venezuela.
I can only imagine how you must have felt! That is so very sad!
Are things a little more stable now? I will add Venezuela to my news feed.. I want to know more about it!
Take care of yourself my friend, and greetings back from the UK!
with all due respect my friend I would prefer you to forget about Venezuela and focus on other countries where there are not so many problems, why are you going to make your mind sick with other people's problems, my comment is of affection.
Don't you worry about my mind.. it's quite in order and just likes to know.. 🙂
But thanks for your concern.. 😉
