Week 47 of the #openmic is getting to the final day of submission. Again, there were so many talents who presented themselves on the live stage, on the topic of FAITH. It is important to have faith, to believe.

Difficult situations in life are inevitable. There are external factors that we sometimes cannot influence, but it is our faith that can help us. It is faith that leads us even in the dark, even when we do not know what is around the corner. It is faith that gives us strength even in pain.

Pain... you made me a believer, pain... This is what the lead singer of the band Imagine Dragons, Dan Reynolds sings in the song Believer.

Pain!
You made me a, you made me a believer, believer
Pain!
You break me down and build me up, believer, believer
Pain
Oh, let the bullets fly, oh, let them rain
My life, my love, my drive, it came from...
Pain!
You made me a, you made me a believer, believer

This song is maybe not something you would expect from me, knowing me as a classical pianist. But, oh, how much I love this band and this song. The emotions of a believer are brought here through the music, the lyrics the way of singing.

I was listening to this song so many times, the original and covers also. I experimented a bit with the motifs of the song and made up my own piano cover. Hope you like it, any feedback is very welcome!

Thank you for your time

Dolor ... me hiciste creyente, dolor ...

¡Dolor!
Me hiciste, me hiciste un creyente, creyente
¡Dolor!
Me derribas y me edificas, creyente, creyente
Dolor

Awesome! i loved it! it is a very cool song, and your version is super cool, i definitely enjoyed the little "twists" you make with the melodies, you surely have the sensitivity enough to grab a song and make it your own! and that's one of the things that make you a true artist! once again: congratulations! and thank you for sharing your talent with us :)

Thank you a lot @juliopalomo for listening and your opinion 🙏🎵

Cool song so a cool version has to come out 😉.
I was trying for days what sounds well, and then practising, making corrections and finally I recorded this morning... 😁

Oh, sí, Puccini no estaría mal . O mio Babbino caro por ejemplo :)

What a wonderful piece of music that lifts one's soul my friend.
Glad that you enjoy playing your piano as that reflects the love of your art and your heart.
Without faith there is no life. Period!

I will not even make a joke here, as this is too good to joke around.

Well done and blessing to you!

(Edited)

I will be fine without jokes this time, as this is a supposed serious post :)

Yes, my love for piano started when I was 5 but officially started to learn with 8....so almost my whole life with instrument is telling that I do love it as a part of me, as a way of expression.

Thank you for everything, good night 👋 and blessings to you & family too 🤗

Wow, a life long love for piano and one can hear it in your playing.
I am amazed that you are not paying on stage, or in a big orchestra.
You certainly play like a champion.

Blessings.

Thank you Zac for you encouragement.

I had concerts before, although not on so big stages :)
Piano with orchestra is a different thing, as the piano is usually not the part of the orchestra in classical pieces like string of wind instruments are.

To play with the orchestra you have to be the soloist, and for that is needed to be really outstanding ☺️

It's not an easy song to play; I love the intensity you brought to it. I would love you to add the best tags on Youtube on your video, so your song can be spotted.

I use currently youtube just as entry to hive open mic. I didn't want to build there my channel. Even after few weeks I put it on private video 😂

I don't know why. Am I crazy?

This KrazzyTrukker could hold a tune in a bucket.

Your talent not only shows in your perfect time, but the confidence and ease that you play. It just flows like you do not even have to think about it.

While this guy is not a big fan of the sound of a piano solo. I understand the talent and time it must take to get to this level.

I also love what bands like Deep Purple, Skynerd, and many others have done with "Keyboards" in their music. Elton John fan here also. And "Funeral for a Friend" is one of my all time faves.

Hey thanks @krazzytrukker for stopping by, althought piano sound is not your favourite one :) Elthon John... I have played recently Your Song and Can You Feel the Love Tonight.

I understand the talent and time it must take to get to this level.

Yes, it is something like that. The talent thing, it is just very small portion of the path towards some achievement. The time spent in practicing counts more .

The emotions of a believer are brought here through the music.

You are totally right. I hadn't interpreted this song in the way that I see it now, through listening to the piano part and feeling the way pain and sorrow can lead a person to right mindedness, or clarity, or faith. Once again, I prefer your solo piano rendition of this song, even though the Rock song is epic. You carry it beautifully.

Thank you for joining in and enjoying Hive Open Mic

Once again, I prefer your solo piano rendition of this song

Thank you so much for this recognition 😊

As piano is considered as acoustic and more classical instrument, and the song is far away from that, my version is maybe the bridge between those two concepts. Maybe ☺️

WOOOOOW!!!
Its great, amazing playing! I'm amazed!
Btw, good angle for shot. Beautiful face profile.

You moved the piano to another corner of the room. That's better! Now it remains to decorate the wardrobe) Perhaps hang some kind of poster or picture.

I was trying to remember who you remind me of when I saw your face profile. And I remembered! You remind me the heroine from the film by Pedro Almadovar "Hable Con Ella".

It's a strange movie, but one of my favorites. Tanya and I played the music from this film on guitars.

Heh, I have a flashback. Your video inspired me and took me back to the past. By the way, here's the music from the movie.

Thank you so much @gulia.peito for all your attention, advice and engagement! Really appreciated.

Yes, I moved the piano to try this other angle, more light as the window is on the right of me, so it turned out to be better. Otherwise, I was always with my back to the source of daylight. The lamps can not provide that natural light.

Thanks for the comparison hehe :) I didn´t watch the movie, but I will listen to the music you shared.

Thanks again for everything 😇

Tio!!! You have some serious piano skills - skills that I can only dream of! I have a midi keyboard that I just plug in to FL studio and the fastest I could play pales to insignificance to what you can do. Lovely work on the cover, I'm not familiar with the original but sounds very dramatic!

Hahaha, man, yes, it is my profession ;D

But I am not familiar for example with the way how do you guys make music, mixes etc etc. I am so clueless about that, so I am amazed with your work.

The original of this song is dramatic a bit, yes. I was thinking even doing a post about the original and the covers I found around on youtube. One day :D

Then you are very good at your profession from what I can see and hear 😃

Ah thank you! I seem to remember you use FL studio so maybe I will do another walk-through sometime when my music PC returns. It's in the clinic and has been for 2 weeks now, it's torture, I have to keep blogging to stay sane haha!

Ooo yes, a post about the original would be great and how you were inspired to do it - I love hearing stories like this 😃

I imagine 😔... Let's hope for the best.
You didn't do a backup? Or keeping your music in an external hard disc?

I have been doing it every month or so but this time, I wasn't able to in time and it would be a shame as I had 4 tracks that were 99% ready to be sent off for mastering. I'll hope that the PC man can work his magic on it 🤞

🤞🤞

I should do it as well. I started to delete the excess of the videos, as I was lazy to put them on external hard, although we have one of 4TB just for backup things...
