Greetings Hive Open Mic!!!
Well, it seems this will be my last Hive post for the year... and what a song to end 2021, the worst year in my 51 year old memory.
This is frankly the only song that came to mind for me when trying to think of the subject for this week, BTW a very hard one at least for myself.
This song is off the 1997 album from Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds, "The Boatman's Call" and happens to be my favorite album from Nick. I hope you all enjoy!!!

I am so sorry to hear that this was your worst year... Sometimes just so many very very hard situations beat us, and there are no words that could ease your feeling. Everyone lives its pains until time makes them more bearable. Still, I wish you could have a better year... and for sure, for the New Year, I wish you lots of better moments that could compensate for this year!
I do apologize for the misunderstanding. I was speaking about the Human species as a collective. You know, the Government mandates, war postering, and all the other BS that has ticked up since early 2020.
I myself had a mediocre year, with a lot to be grateful for in my personal life.
I hope you and yours have the best New year possible and great abundance, somehow, upon the entirety of the Earth. I know we can all do way better.

Oh, I am happy that it was just a misunderstanding :) I understood that it was your personal worse year in your life, but good it was not!! Just mediocre, with a lot of grateful moments, it is then more than bearable! Actually, great then :)
I know, yes, many things are around that are maybe not promising a good future for the mankind. I try to cut away the news and all what is giving fear or unnecessary struggle, and read/hear just the minimum I need to know. Someone would not understand it, say that I am ignoring the things, but that is my way to stay "sane" for my family, friends, and people I get in touch with.
