Last week when we were camping around Katoomba, I was surprised to come across a bubble tea shop that also sells a popular Hong Kong street snack which they call Bubble Waffle. On the main strip of Katoomba, you can see many people outside waiting for their drinks. Originally a juice bar, the addition of Asian bubble tea have made it very popular amongst the younger generations in the area.

上星期去完露營之後就去 Katoomba. 好意外找到一間買珍珠奶茶的甜品舖但最令我愕然就是有我最喜歡的雞蛋仔. 在這條正街上可以看見很多人排隊買珍珠奶茶就知道這家店一個是不錯的. 本來是買果汁, 這間舖頭轉型賣珍珠奶茶之後就很受這區的年輕人歡迎.

Let’s check out the menu. They were lots of juice options to choose from and a small selection of Asian bubble tea drinks. There is also ice cream and the popular Hong Kong snack Bubble Waffle. We ordered a mango sago, normal milk tea and 2 bubble waffles for each kid.

先看看這裏的餐牌. 雖然是賣珍珠奶茶但都有不同類型果汁，雪糕，其他亞洲飲品和這間店很受歡迎的雞蛋仔. 我叫了一杯芒果西米，一般的珍珠奶茶同兩份雞蛋仔讓小朋友每人一份.

The wait time was painful. Nearly 15 minutes for our order as there was only 1 staff making everything and the shop was pretty busy. Other than that, the drinks we think was a bit weak in taste which was disappointing. On the other hand, the fresh bubble waffle was delicious. Luckily we bought two or everyone will be fighting for it. I miss the street food/snacks in Hong Kong so this was a nice fix to the craving.

沒有想到買幾樣東西竟然要等 15分鐘以上因為只有一個員工在後面做雞蛋仔和飲品. 我們覺得飲品比較淡所以這點有點失望但雞蛋仔做得非常香口真是有在香港食的口味. 如果你在這區旅遊不妨找這間小店買一些雞蛋仔回家吃.
