Went to the Buddhist temple at Bencoolen Street on Saturday. It's sort of customary for people to visit temples to give thanks at the end of the lunar year.

星期六去了在明古连街的观音堂佛祖庙。农历新年之前去寺庙答谢算是习俗。

However, it was closed. I thought some places of visit were allowed to opened. So people were just doing the "communication" from outside.

I went closer to find out they decided they close on weekends. I guess the crowd would be difficult to manage.

The Indian temple nearby were closed too.

I just decided to make this picture a black and white one. The statues all around the temple is some wonder of art. Maybe I'll use this photo for a photo contest.

Nearby, this open area usually have some kind of bazaar market during the period leading to the Chinese New Year but not this year. We all know why.

附近这放地往年在农历新年之前有摆市集但没有。大家也该知道这是为什么。

I think that sort of benefitted the shops nearby.

我猜附近的店铺受益了。

Someone decided to extend the stall outside Fu Lu Shou Complex to sell fruits and there was good human traffic there.

有人决定将在福禄寿大厦外的摊位扩展卖水果而那里人潮也真不错。
