After work from home on Friday, I went out to the town central to meet my wife to dinner. I was walking around in HDB Hub and then walking out towards "Merry Christmas".
星期五家工作完后，我出去到镇中心和太太吃晚餐。我在建屋局中心走出去，然后向“圣诞快乐”走出去。

Hmm... looks the Whale Tea that I saw before had opened. The one that dare to come just next to two other bubble tea shop.

I went to the side to check it out.

They have a nice picture of whale at the side.

Actually further away, there is another bubble tea shop. So, there are at least 4 in the row of shops.
再远一点还有另外一个泡泡茶店所以那排店至少有4家。
OK, I was looking for food not bubble tea. I ended up here to get my dinner. A familiar place I go to sometimes.
好啦，我一直寻找的是食物不是泡泡茶。结果我在这里吃晚餐。一个熟悉而我偶尔去的地方，。
My wife's food came and she was ready to dig in. I stopped her to take photos. They have bubble tea too but the tea that came with our meal didn't have pearls in it.
我太太的餐来了。她准备吃了。住手。让我先拍。他们也有泡泡茶但配我们餐的茶没珍珠。
Here was her pork chop rice.
这是她的猪扒饭。
It came with some sausages.
配着一些香肠。
Mine was this fried chicken fillet with curry rice .
我的是这个炒鸡肉与咖喱饭。
Done for dinner and went to the cashier to paid. They have many fortune cats there.
吃了饭，去收银台付款。他们有很多招财猫在那里。

Nice white cat dolls! I just bought a golden one to replace the one my old friend gave me years ago.
I don't think I have ever had a bubble tea. If I had, it must be by mistake, and so unmemorable that I had forgotten about it. :-)
It's more sweet than anything. I think the younger people have less place to spend their money and don't save so much so Starbucks and bubble tea is like their indulgence.
I don't often go to starbucks or such - only once in a while when friends suggested and it is not nice to back out. Even then, I feel the pinch of the price of the coffee. lol. Youngsters these days sure can spend money. :-)
