Sometime back, I saw the Popeye's outlet at HDB Hub has this poster. Yay, free chicken but I was in the mood for burger then.

20200703. I saw an email from KFC telling me about Fried Chicken Day. The National Fried Chicken Day is supposed to be observed in USA on 6th of July. I checked with my wife, "Popeye's for dinner?" She said OK. So, I downloaded the app and headed to Popeye's. Along the way, I entered my order including the free 2 pieces of chicken. I reached there about 5.25pm and completed the order but earliest collection time allowed was 5.45pm.

20200703。我看到一个来自肯德基的电邮告诉我关于炸鸡日。国家炸鸡日在美国的7月日。我跟太太联系，“晚餐吃Popeye？” 她说OK。所以，我下载了小程序，并前往Popeye走。一路上，我输入我的订单包括2件免费炸鸡。我到达那里大约下午5点25分，并完成了订单，但允许最早领取食物集时间为下午5时45。

So, I waited outside.

所以就在外面等。

In front of me, lots of people were queuing for rojak and the tray and cutlery collecting robots got their job back.

Finally, I got my food. Looked correct.

最后，我拿到了我的食物。看起来没错。

Took a bus to the inlaws place and start distributing the food.

坐公车到岳父母的家，并开始分配食物。

I bought the fried mushroom that I like when I eat there but my conclusion is never buy these back again. This is the 2nd time and it just doesn't taste as good as having it there.

我买了炒蘑菇。在那里吃过挺喜欢但我的结论是以后不会再买这些回家。这是第二次，买回去的味道真的比在那里吃的差一点。

The mashed potato and the burger came with the set I bought.

土豆泥和汉堡是跟我买的套餐一起的。

The burger was quite big and my wife and I shared it.

汉堡是相当大的，太太和我分享了。

As for the app, it was crashing a lot when I started to use it. The stupid thing is if you accidentally close the app and had not collected your order, you cannot get back to your order details easily. You have to select to order again then you get menu to go the the order history.

至于小程序，它真有点失败。愚蠢的事情是，如果你不小心关闭了而还没领取食物，要找回你的订单细节可真不容易。你必须选择再次订购，那么才有菜单能让你显示过去的订单。
