I first visited this place back in September last year, but as i neared the place I saw several caravans and vehicles on the property.

As I wasn’t in the market to purchase some sprigs of lucky heather I carried on driving.

Returning this week I was in the area I thought I would have another look, expecting to see it either burned to the ground or with a nicely laid tarmacadam, just a quick in and out. That quickie lasted a good half hour. A huge silage spreader had been placed across the driveway, leaving me no option but to brave the hawthorn hedge. The things we do for love

Not much of interest in the sheds just the shell of a moggy minor, 80mph top speed. Non of this K/ph bollox all these modern cars have on the dial. Old school ya see feet and inches pounds and ounces; fuck all this foreign nonsense.

To the caravan, I went. I’m surprised the pikeys didn’t have this away. Burtons menswear, back in the day the place to go for made to measure, classy edging to the lapels and the trouser seams.

Census from 2011, still not completed, a man after my own heart, I have never completed one and never will, even had an official knocking on my door quite irate back in the 90’s proper foaming at the mouth when I told him there was more chance of him giving birth than me filling his form in, expected a summons; never did get one. Rebel with many causes! Fuck big brother and the puppet masters.

It was dark and dingy, in what could be called the parlour/lounge/front room. A couple of sagging old chairs surrounded by heavy drapes on the walls, not bad as I had to use flash in a very dark environment

The landing ( I used the first, came down the 2nd, if you are wondering). Bottles and bottles of the stuff, I’m told it’s common to consume this if one is undergoing chemo. I don’t know personally.
