German Road Trip. Part 4 Rüdersdorf Phosphate Works. ( The manufacturing facility)

So I was looking for a way in, the road bridge over the Lagerhanskanal, was firmly locked shut, climbable st a push, however a security vehicle? was visible just the other side of the bridge.(I had spied it earlier from the offices).

Plan B, swim?
Plan C, maybe the railway bridge further round? I was not that confident.

Walking away from the gates up pulled a Series 5 BMW, not the outside lane hogging sales rep silver coloured bog standard type. But one more akin to pimps and pushers; me I’m deaf as a post but I could make out the monotonous thump of (c)rap that some folk class as music blarting out of the 8 track stereo system, or possibly some new fan dangled Wi-fi gizmo.

The driver got out, a young guy, swarthy, Turkish looking, greased back hair, dressed for a night down the disco.
The passenger got out, a younger girl, blue eyes, blonde hair, Aryan, stunning, immaculate, someone you could take home to meet your mum.

Impossible conversation ensued, it seems the Doner was determined to ignore the security vehicle I showed him, I told him basically “you’ve got no chance”, but off he swaggered like Patrick Swayze in Dirty Dancing.

He climbed the fence, easily, Damn him
She climbed the fence with more difficulty, he didn’t help her he stood and watched. Knob.
He swaggered off, she sasheyed, I watched

Security appeared as forewarned
Doner and the Aryan were unceremoniously marched back to the fence.
No more swagger when he saw me
Security opened the gate, I’d a made him climb back over

Walking back to the car his ego deflated Her smiling shyly. I followed I said as slowly and as clearly as I could.
“And you’ve got a puncture”

Happy days and off I sashayed to find a way in.

Making my way through the bushes I ended up here so far so good. Balancing precariously on the pipe work, swinging myself round, heart in my mouth, i was in. Eventually finding a wide enough gap in the fence, just got to dodge security patrols now.

A massive complex of huge structures all empty, it was just pretty cool to admire the behemoths and the art work

In and out up and down I went a good few hours enjoyed.

The weird, the wonderful and the damn bloody gorgeous art work

I’m pretty harmless....really.

It was good to bump into a couple of these artists at work in one of the buildings, we had a good chat about what they do and what I do, it seems it’s not a cheap hobby for them, with no return for their efforts

This has got to be the biggest building I’ve been in on a mooch

So a great day mooching round Rüdersdorf just gotta get outta here now. Shall I take the piss and walk to the main gate and let security let me out?
