Lauching the project SPLINTERLENDAS! (Splinterlore in Portuguese!) [EN/PT]
Hello all! It's with great pleasure that I finally got the time to launch this project. For a long time there is the discussion in the gamer community between what's more important: Lore or Gameplay? I believe most of us already know the gameplay from Spliterlands, but what about it awesome lore? Did you know that Mortis, land of the death splinter, is the biggest one in terms of land? And Draykh-Nahka, land of the dragon splinter, is the smallest, but most powerful? Or even that Yodin's favorite food is chicken? (and other birds, but mainly chicken)
Olá a todos! É com grande prazer que finalmente venho anunciar esse projeto tão maravilhoso! Durante muito tempo, existe a discussão na comunidade gamer sobre o que é mais importante: Jogabilidade ou História? Eu acredito que muitos de nós já conhecemos bem a jogabilidade de Splinterland, mas e sua história, suas lendas? Você sabia que Mortis, terra do Splinter Mortal é a mais vasta em relação a território? E que Draykh-Nahka, terra do Splinter Draconico, é a menor, porém mais poderosa? ou ainda que a comida favorita do Yodin é frango? (e outras aves, mas preferencialmente frango)
With all this wonderful stories, I felt the need to allow more people to get to know them, and since the Portuguese speakers community is growing, I decided to take upon the mission of translating the Splinterlores to Portuguese. This will be my roadmap to do it:
Com todas essas histórias maravilhosas, eu senti que mais pessoas deveriam ter acesso a elas, e como a comunidade Lusófona está crescendo dentro do jogo, decidi aceitar a missão de traduzir o Splinterlore para o Português. Este será meu plano de ação:

1- Translate "The splinter and the ancient ones". I think that we should begin from the beginning, so what better way to do it then by talking about the first great splinter and how the splinters got formed.
2- Starting with the Burning Lands, I'll translate all of the Characters Profiles from Splinterlore, always following this sequence (2 - 7), one profile from each Splinter until all of them are done.
3- Then I'll move on to translate all the lores, again following the sequence on the map (2 - 7), each post from one splinter.
4- The next step will be to translate all the Card Profiles that are only in @splinterlore
5- I'll also translate the lores from the cards inside of Splinterlands (3 cards each time)
6- From this point on, I'll be going around and translate whatever I find about, while I take a break from posting a lot, since the next step will be the longest one
7- Translate the Encyclopedia of the Splinterlands! Yes, the final project is to translate all of the Encyclopedia! Just like Mortis is the large piece of land, this will be the biggest work from this project!
1- Traduzir "A divisão e os Primordiais". Eu acredito que devemos começar do começo, e qual a melhor forma de fazer isso do que falar sobre a primeira grande divisão e como cada splinter se formou.
2- Iniciando pelas Terras Queimadas, irei traduzir todos os Perfis dos Personagens que estão no Splinterlore. sempre seguindo essa sequencia (2 - 7), um perfil de cada splinter até terminar todos.
3- Então passarei a traduzir todas as lendas, novamente seguindo a sequencia no mapa (2 - 7), cada post de um splinter.
4- O próximo passo será todos os personagens que estão exclusivamente em @splinterlore
5- Eu também traduzirei todas as lendas que estão nas cartas do Splinterlands (3 cartas por vez)
6- Apartir daqui, irei traduzir tudo o que encontrar sobre o jogo, e também tirarei um tempo das postagens, pois o proximo passo será o mais longo de todos
7- Traduzir a Enciclopédia de Splinterlands! Sim, o projeto final será a tradução completa de toda a enciclopédia! Assom como Mortis é a maior ilha, esta tradução será a maior de todas!
Então, como um aperitivo, eu apresento a vocês a primeira tradução: A Balada da Grande Divisão!
A muito tempo atrás, quando a Magia estava a despertar
Aqueles que nos deram vida, uma má decisão vieram a tomar
Por controle e poder, lutavem e brigavam, sem nenhum segundo de calma
Mas acabarem se esquecendo que o planeta tem uma alma
O planeta... tem uma alma!
O planeta revidou, com terremotos, enchentes e tempestades
E seu sangue flamejante jorrou, partindo a terra em varias metades
Os Primordiais gritaram, cheios de vergonha e medo: "O que vamos fazer,
Se perdermos esse planeta, o que será de nosso poder?"
O que será... de nosso poder
Eram 5 os Primordiais: O Anjo em sua Nuvem Celestial
O Espirito da Floresta em sua Arvore Ancestral
O Gigante do Gelo, a Fênix do Fogo e o Senhor da Escuridão
Que comandava uma terra repleta de morte e podridão
Repleta de morte e podridão...
Durante muitas eras a paz era apenas um sonho distante
Onde a violência entre os seres eram sempre constante
O planeta, num estado desperado, estava pronto para desistir
E destruir tudo de uma vez, fazendo seus invasores deixarem de existir
Seus invasores deixarem de... existir!
A magia do planeta estava se esvaindo
Toda fonte de encantamento estava secando, sumindo
O pouco que alguns ainda conseguiam utilizar
Era gasta nesta guerra mesquinha, consumindo suas almas em seu lugar
Consumindo sua almas... em seu lugar
Finalmente os Primordiais colocaram suas mesquinhes de lado
Precisavam resolver esse problema rápido, senão tudo estaria acabado
Uniram o que restava de sua magia, e em um movimento final
Separaram essa facções, para provar qual seria a maioral
Qual o poder... maioral
Este dia foi chamado A Grande divisão, e serviu para mostrar
Que nossas vidas são apenas jogos nas mãos dos Primordiais
Eles nos dividiram, tentando trazer a guerra a um fim
E agora o mundo está ainda mais dividido, e se tornando cada vez mais assim
Cada vez... mais assim...

hehe, is it fantasy or the daily news? I've been back to gaming a bit but I'm hooked for spare time shenanigans on Injustice League 2, just something about being Catwoman calls to meh! I like all the fantasy aspects of this and how many people have FUN on it. Carry on guardian of fire...
