Viking makeup + hairstyle. Personal experience.

Hola mis chicas y chicos de esta gran comunidad, el día de hoy quise hacer este maquillaje inspirado en los Vikingos, ¿por qué? porque les cuento que hace mucho tiempo cuando comencé en Hive, específicamente en la comunidad de Makeup Power, habian iniciativas que se hacían cada semana, y hubo una semana en donde hicieron la iniciativa de maquillajes inspirados en los Vikingos, yo obviamente quise participar y recuerdo que para ese tiempo no tenia ningún material, no tenia casi sombras, ni mucho menos algo con qué tomarme las fotografías, así que tuve que pedirle el teléfono prestado a una vecina (lo cual era bastante incomodo) ya que yo verdaderamente me daba y me sigo dando mi tiempo para hacer mis cosas, entonces me daba pena quitarle mucho tiempo el celular a mi vecina, les comento que ese día ya era el último día de la semana y lo hice rápidamente pero mi vecina se fue a la casa de su mamá y cuando ella se iba quedaba incomunicada por lo que no me mando las fotos completas, así que para mi fue muy difícil montar mi maquillaje y mucho menos lo iba a hacer si estaba incompleto. Hace ya un tiempo también se hizo la iniciativa de este maquillaje pero en ese momento no había tenido la oportunidad de hacerlo.

¿Por qué les cuento esto? porque el no haberlo hecho en esas dos oportunidades me hizo inspirarme y hacerlo hoy. Obviamente quería hacerlo con todo lo necesario, así que no les quito más tiempo, y sin mas que decir, vamos a comenzar con el paso a paso.

Hello my girls and boys from this great community, today I wanted to do this makeup inspired by the Vikings, why? Because I tell you that a long time ago when I started in Hive, specifically in the Makeup Power community, there were initiatives that were done every week, and there was a week where they did the initiative of makeup inspired by the Vikings, I obviously wanted to participate and I remember that at that time I did not have any material, I had almost no shadows, much less something with which to take pictures, so I had to borrow the phone from a neighbor (which was quite uncomfortable) since I really gave myself and myself I keep giving my time to do my things, so it made me sad to take away my neighbor's cell phone for a long time, I told them that that day was already the last day of the week and I did it quickly but my neighbor went to her mother's house And when she left, she was cut off so she didn't send me the complete photos, so it was very difficult for me to put on my makeup, much less would I do it if it was incomplete. Some time ago the initiative of this makeup was also made but at that time I had not had the opportunity to do it.

Why am I telling you this? because not having done it on those two occasions made me inspire and do it today. Obviously I wanted to do it with everything necessary, so I don't take any more time, and without more to say, let's start with the step by step.

Lo primero que hice fue hacerme una trenza en el inicio-centro de mi cabeza, les recuerdo que esto no tiene que quedar perfecto, mientras mas disparejo ¡mejor! ya no olviden que los peinado de los Vikingos no son nada perfectos.

The first thing I did was make a braid in the beginning-center of my head, I remind you that this does not have to be perfect, the more uneven the better! Do not forget that the Viking hairstyles are not perfect at all.

Luego me hice una segunda trenza pero en ella me incrusté cabello sintético, específicamente Kanekalon, la verdad no se hacerlo pero lo hice a mi manera, y así como hice con esa también o hice con las demás trenzas de la parte de adelante.

Then I made a second braid but I embedded synthetic hair in it, specifically Kanekalon, I really don't know how to do it but I did it my way, and just as I did with that one too or I did with the other braids on the front.

Ya una vez terminada las 5 trenzas de la parte de adelante, comencé a incrustarme cabello en la parte de atrás de mi cabeza, y así tener más volúmen en el cabello que quedaba suelto.

Once the 5 braids in the front were finished, I began to embed hair in the back of my head, and thus have more volume in the hair that was loose.

Ya una vez listo el peinado, me recogí el cabello para dar inicio al maquillaje, lo primero que hice fue aplicarme un primer y me hice mis cejas, las corregí, me apliqué corrector en el parpado y me aplique también sombra negra, desde la v externa hasta casi el medio del parpado y en la cuenca.

Once the hairstyle was ready, I gathered my hair to start the makeup, the first thing I did was apply a primer and did my eyebrows, I corrected them, I applied concealer on the eyelid and I also applied black shadow, from the v external to almost the middle of the eyelid and into the basin.

En el centro me apliqué una sombra plateada, en el inicio del ojo me aplique una sombra dorada y difuminé bien, no quería que se viera los colores tan marcados sino más bien quería que se viera como un degradado.

In the center I applied a silver shadow, at the beginning of the eye I applied a golden shadow and blurred well, I did not want the colors to be so marked but rather I wanted it to look like a gradient.

Me apliqué base y corrector en todo el rostro pero aún no sello con polvo, eso es más adelante, así que con un lápiz negro me hice un triangulo invertido en toda la frente y lo pinté de color marrón.

I applied foundation and concealer all over my face but I still haven't sealed with powder, that's later, so with a black pencil I made an inverted triangle all over my forehead and painted it brown.

Luego me hice una linea desde mi patilla, pasando por la nariz, hasta llegar al otro extremo de la otra patilla, para pintar eso utilicé una sombra dorada y me hice unas figuras debajo de esa linea, en forma de gota. Esas "gotas" las pinté con sombra marrón y una vez hecho eso, con un pincel y una pintura blanca delinee el triangulo.

Aquí ya comienzo a sellar mi rostro con polvo compacto.

Then I made a line from my temple, passing through the nose, until I reached the other end of the other temple, to paint that I used a golden shadow and made some figures under that line, in the shape of a drop. I painted those "drops" with brown shadow and once that was done, with a brush and white paint I delineated the triangle.

Here I already begin to seal my face with compact powder.

Dentro del triangulo me hice unos puntos grandes y pequeños con pintura blanca y me hice unos círculos encima de mis cejas desde el más grande hasta el más chico.

Después me hice otros detalles con la pintura blanca y me delinee la linea que pasa por mi rostro.

Inside the triangle I made some big and small dots with white paint and made some circles above my eyebrows from the largest to the smallest.

Then I made other details with white paint and delineated the line that passes through my face.

Ya por último termino de hacer los detalles restantes y me pinto los labios de negro.

Finally I finish doing the remaining details and I paint my lips black.

Antes de despedirme quiero decir algunas cosas, aquí les dejaré unas fotos de ese maquillaje vikingo que hice hace ya un año. No saben lo orgullosa que me siento de lo que he logrado, aún me faltan muchas cosas pero no dejo de darle gracias a Dios por las bendiciones que día a día me da, me siento muy feliz por todo lo que he progresado, y por eso les digo que nunca duden de ustedes mismos, eso es algo que poco a poco me he ido quitando; "el dudar" porque de nada nos sirve. No tengan miedo de experimentar y de luchar por sus sueños, dejemos las inseguridades atrás, ya verán que si lo hacen lograrán cosas enormes y maravillosas. Aprovechen el tiempo y esta vida para hacer lo que los hace feliz.

Before saying goodbye I want to say a few things, here I will leave you some photos of that Viking makeup that I did a year ago. They do not know how proud I am of what I have achieved, I still lack many things but I do not stop thanking God for the blessings that he gives me every day, I feel very happy for all that I have progressed, and for that reason I tell you never to doubt yourself, that is something that little by little I have been taking off; "doubting" because it is useless. Do not be afraid to experiment and fight for your dreams, let's leave insecurities behind, you will see that if you do, you will achieve enormous and wonderful things.
