Hello my dear friends of the hive. I tell you that today's makeup is inspired by the scarlet macaw and this is the national bird of Honduras. They live in flocks of up to 12 members in the rainforests of South America. I wanted to do this makeup because my main inspiration comes from animals, although in my last posts I have worked with mythical figures and those who have followed me in the last week know that I have been inspired by the seasons of the year. So, today I'm going back to my origins. Here is the step by step.

Hola mis queridos amigos de la colmena. Les cuento que el maquillaje de hoy está inspirado en la Guacamaya Roja y ésta es el ave nacional de Honduras. Habitan en bandadas de hasta 12 miembros en las selvas húmedas de Sur América. Quise hacer este maquillaje porque mi principal inspiración viene de los animales, aunque en mis últimos post he trabajado con figuras míticas y los que me han seguido en la última semana saben que me ha inspirado las estaciones del año. Así que, hoy vuelvo a mis orígenes. A continuación el paso a paso.

Step 1 Accessories	Paso 1 Accesorios
Since what I want to depict is a bird, I took the time to craft some feathers for the headpiece out of recycled paper dyed at home. (I have already uploaded in a previous post on how to dye your own paper).	Cómo lo que quiero representar es un ave, me tomé el tiempo para elaborar algunas plumas para el tocado con papel de reciclaje teñido en casa. (Ya he subido en un post anterior de como teñir tu propio papel).

Once we have the feathers ready we just have to group them together and shape them. I used a bit of paint to give volume and movement as well as some glitter to give more luminosity. Yo use un poco de pintura para dar volumen y movimiento así como también un poco de brillantina para dar más luminosidad.

Step 2 the eyes	Paso 2 Los ojos
Illuminate the center of the forehead and all around the eyes with white paint. I do this to get more vivid colors.	Iluminar el centro de la frente y todo el contorno de los ojos con pintura de color blanco. Esto lo hago para conseguir colores más vivos.

Step 2.1	Paso 2.1
Outline the eyebrows with brown pencil and fill in with brown shadow. Then proceed to place orange shadow on the fixed eyelid. Next, place yellow, green, blue and fuchsia shadows from the tear trough to the end of the eye in the sequence of colors described.	Delinear las cejas con lápiz de color marrón y rellenar con sombra de color marrón. Luego se procede a colocar sombra de color naranja sobre el párpado fijo. Seguidamente, colocar sombras de color amarillo, verde, azul y fucsia desde el lagrimal hacia la el final del ojo en la secuencia de colores descrita.

Step 2.2	Paso 2.2
Place green shadow on the lower lash line and with a blue eye pencil make a stroke from the bridge of the nose, continuing under the eyes to the ear.	Colocar sombra de color verde en la línea de las pestañas inferiores y con un lápiz de ojos de color azul hacer un trazo desde el puente de la nariz, siguiendo debajo de los ojos hasta la oreja.

Step 2.3	Paso 2.3
Draw with white colored paint a line running all the way down the lower line of the eye towards the temple.	Dibujar con pintura de color blanco una línea que recorra toda la línea inferior del ojo hacia la sien.

Step 3 Lips	Paso 3 Los labios
Fill in the lips with orange shadow.	Rellenar los labios con sombra de color naranja.

Step 4 the neck	Paso 4 El cuello
With a round brush place blue paint around the neck and then with a thin brush and white paint draw strokes that look like feathers.	Con un pincel redondo colocar pintura azul alrededor del cuello y luego con un pincel delgado y pintura blanca dibujar trazos que parezcan plumas.	!
