3D Printed Chess Set Posable Figure

I 3D printed chess pieces.

As you can see, all the pieces fit together to make a posable figure.

Wasn't a bad print, and I thought it was a neat idea that @landonator would like. But, the way some of the pieces connected could have been a little better thought out. The pawns in the legs didn't really stay together so it would fall apart if you moved him too much. Not the best to hold up to a 5-year-old, but it was still neat to do.

I grabbed the model from Pinshape for free, so I can't complain. To design this myself would take hours and probably many failed test prints. It was a neat little project.

One of the Rooks lifted a bit during the print as well. Not bad, but frustrating to come down to a print with a small fault in it. I wore out the original printing plate on my printer a while back. I got a nice glass bed to replace it but getting things to stick right to the end is a bit more challenging. I'm finding I have to use an extra-strong hairspray and make smaller prints on a raft if I want them to complete without lifting. I also turn the cooling fan off to help everything cool evenly. I didn't do any of that for this print, so the Rook lifting could have been a lot worse.
