The caves will not be visible until they have climbed about a kilometer up the stairs. The cave has been built to be spacious and free. When looking around the cave, a large area is clearly visible.

In a way, I found this mysterious thing on the rock floor. I don't know why. However, in the middle of a jungle, in a cave in a mountain, there can be many stories of burial. There may be anecdotes, especially of King Rawana. However, most of our history does not mention King Rawana. The young people of today are especially interested in exploring Ravana.

According to our history, this cave was the cave where Princess Sitha was kept by King Rawana. Evidence for this can be seen in the cave's internal tunnel. But we did not go to the bottom of the cave. We would be very lucky if we could see the blue pond inside the cave.

Located at an altitude of 1370 m above sea level, the Ravana Cave is one of the largest caves in the intermediate climatic zones. The mouth of the cave is more than 15 feet high and nearly 20 feet wide. The interior of the cave, which is over 40 feet in length, has a cave roof and walls that are at least in a southward curved shape. At the end of the cave, one end of the cave is found, extending from about 5 feet in width to about a foot in width.

Actually Ravana cave has longest history. Some of folklore also built using Rama Ravana war. The unique feature of this cave is that the cave has a very large variety of stone slabs on the ground. According to most scholars, this place is hidden in the entrance to an underground palace of King Rawana. These days one of local TV channel produced King Ravana's story from teledrama. So I can take best imagine from it how Ravana acted those days against foreign army. Thanks for reading. Have a nice day.
