The blackstar that looms on the city

I found really interesting this simple pixelart style by using really just few lines and wanted to give a try. I went on black cause I wanted to add to the Mischief world but I see many people using it with more pastel background, so that the subject has that cool nostalgic feeling

The Dark star was drawing all the light from it's souroundings leaving the city in an eternal need for artificial light, the resources run scarces and the solutions are always more and more impossible to realize as the star draws near.

On a side note I tried to rework the sand tiles, I wanted a bit more depth everything felt way to flat in the desert so I'm trying creating this shades in beetwen the tiles, it look a bit more like some kind of sand rock but that's fine as it breaks the monotony a bit!
